Floral fairy tote bag with fuchsias. This lovely tote bag in sturdy coral pink fabric has appliqué panels cut from delightful floral fairies print fabric in pastel shades of mainly pink and green on a white background. The largest panel features a male fairy sitting on a swing surrounded by fuchsia flowers and zesty green leaves. A green butterfly is resting on his hands. Three smaller panels each feature a daisy. I’ve edged the panels with machine-embroidered dark pink looped decorative stitching and then frayed the edges of the fabric. Between the panels I've hand-embroidered a scattering of pale pink lazy daisies and added some pale pink felt flowers which I’ve secured in place with further lazy daisies in darker pink thread. The bag is lined with pretty pale pink and white gingham with an overlaid pattern of ditsy white flowers.
This delightful tote bag, with its combination of pretty floral fairy fabric and embroidered flowers, would make a lovely gift, particularly for someone who loves fairies and fantasy.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (36cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are approx. 24 inches (60cm) from end to end and are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or carried as a handbag.
