Full description
Jellyfish tote bag. This sturdy tote bag is made from blue fabric and depicts a delightful ocean scene with a jellyfish, coral, waterweed and a small shoal of fish. The appliqué and hand-embroidered jellyfish is made from sparkly pink fabric and pinky-lilac ditsy floral fabric. Three of the tentacles are made from twisted pale pink organza ribbon, and the remaining ones are hand embroidered in pale pink thread. I've added a mini shoal of fish consisting of three purple and yellow wooden fish-shaped buttons. I've also added machine embroidered coral in purple and orange, and waterweed in blue-green and bright zesty green. The bag is lined with blue fabric with tiny white polka dots.
This versatile tote bag is perfect for use as a shopping bag but pretty enough to be used as a handbag. The jellyfish body sparkles and twinkles as it catches the light and the organza tentacles give an ethereal feel. It would make a lovely gift for a scuba diver or anyone who loves the ocean.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (36cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are approx. 24 inches (60cm) from end to end, and are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or carried as a handbag.
