I’ve been wanting to try out printing coloured slips for a while, but as I use dark coloured clay couldn’t work out how it could be done without the colours bleeding into each other. So after some experiments I have come up with these designs. I love the bright colours on the deep terracotta clays, it gives them the feel of enamels on copper.

Full description
Ceramic U shaped necklace in orange and brown suspended on a silver plate curb chain necklace. The pendant is made from an Etruscan terracotta clay and has been printed on the surface using bright coloured under glazes, this is then finished with a clear glaze to make the colours pop. The necklace has a ring clasp.
