I fell in love with the magnificent swirly female poplar trees, the rare Black/Manchester male poplar (nicknamed Juan), the rustling Aspen Grove, the spreading goat willows, the oak trees, the historic Nico Ditch and the amazing re-wilding of this place.
Sadly, Ryebank Fields is under threat from development by Manchester Metropolitan University, who were gifted this land for sports purposes by Manchester City Council.
I will donate £20 from each print sold to 'Friends of Ryebank Fields' to help with surveys and legal fees to fight the redevelopment
