Full description
One of a series of monochrome abstracts, this picture has been hand felted. It has been made from a base of merino wool fibres with various natural and synthetic fibres and fabrics added to the surface to provide texture and detail. Further detail has been added using hand stitching in black and white threads. This picture can be hung in any orientation (see photos) and is open to lots of interpretation - the choice is yours.
The resulting artwork is rich in texture. The felt art measures approximately 9cm x 9cm (3.5" x 3.5") and it has been mounted on white card in a square black frame. The frame is unglazed allowing the texture of the piece to be clearly visible.
