Full description
This is the first custom built collectors fountain pen in my range of seashell pens. This stunning hand made pen has whole and broken razor clam shells held within the light-blue resin binder. The shells are all collected from the peaceful beaches around South Ronaldsay, Orkney, and the transparent blue tint is inspired by the azure summer skies above our beautiful islands, allowing light to refract through the pen, illuminating the seashells within. Built entirely from scratch, this delightful collectors fountain pen has a parallel shape to the body and cap with rounded ends. The triple-lead thread connecting the cap to the body allows them to be separated quickly and easily. The hand-made nib section contains a German made Bock No.5 medium nib connected to a Beaufort Inks converter to hold the ink. The tiny step up (1.5mm) from the section to the body makes this stunning artisan pen very easy to write with. The pen is 142mm long with the cap attached. With the cap removed it is 130mm, about 18mm wide and weighs 34g. These unique pens take 9 to 10 hours to create.
The price includes post and packing.
