A tribute to the nettle. They are a joy to collect in the early Spring when the earth is coming back to life, and they have so many fabulous uses. Just watch out for that sting!

A small linocut print of a hand holding a stem of nettles. Printed in a spring green archival ink on handmade Japanese paper.
This print is completely original and handmade using traditional linocut techniques. The design is hand drawn onto lino before being carved to create a unique linocut block. Each block is then printed by hand burnishing with archival inks onto fine paper.
The nature of lino as a medium means that the final results are unique to each finished print. Differences in the amount of ink, the pressure of the hand-burnishing technique used can change each work subtly.
This print is on a5 paper, approx. 14.8cm x 21cm in size.
The print comes unframed but in recyclable protective packaging.
