This print is a twist on traditional Corsican Vendetta Knives of the early 20th Century. The blades would be carved with Italian phrases such as 'May my wounds be mortal'.
Taking the idea of an engraved blade I have given it a more hopeful twist, making it into a gesture of love and resilience.
