INTERNATIONAL POST - I'm in the process of updating postage for the US and have temporarily removed it from my listings whilst I recalculate the prices to include the new taxes and handling fees which have to be paid prior to my items entering the US. If you are based in the US and wish to purchase something please send me a message and I will happily send you a quote and add the postage and charges back on to the item.

Beautiful hand embroidered lavender heart. A unique keepsake gift designed and created by Bearlescent
This is a beautifully detailed hand embroidered heart, filled with super polyester filling and a small organza bag containing dried lavender to give a beautiful fragrance.
Hand embroidered onto linen fabric (a dark stone colour which is more dull in reality than the photos show), using various threads and stitches this is a snippet of a garden border with flowers, ferns grasses and lavender.
Hand sewn using dull shades of green, mauve, blue, lavender, cream, terracotta,and maroons.
The pleated lace was hand coloured using a selection of watercolour pencils, blended and reapplied until I achieved the shades I wanted to match the pillow then heat set using an iron.
The finished heart took nearly 3 days to complete and is a unique design
It would make a beautiful keepsake gift for someone special.
I love to create heirloom style pieces and particularly enjoy hand embroidery.
The heart can be hung, there is a loop to the back but can also be used as a decorative piece by leaving the loop out of site to the back of the cushion.
Finished measurements are 5" x 5" (13cm approx) not including the lace, with lace the finished size is approx 7" x 7"
This will be posted by Royal Mail 2nd class and will require a signature upon delivery.
