I love making interesting, one of a kind jewellery from my workshop in West Cornwall.
All my pieces are hand-crafted, using authentic metals and gemstones sourced from reputable UK suppliers and genuine sea glass finds from my hikes around the Cornish coast.
I especially like to leave the seaglass in its original unique state and shape, as nature designed it, tumbled in the Atlantic waves.

Its not very often I find turquoise blue sea glass and its not til I look at the glass more closely back at my workshop that I can see the true variety of colours of my mornings beach finds.
This was a special find which required a unique design. :-)

Full description
Hand made silver necklace. Rare Turquoise colour sea glass sits in a handcrafted sterling silver horseshoe. The beautiful glass is set in a fine silver bezel mounted on a sterling silver sea. Silver balls and hand texturing embellish the pendant which hangs from a sterling silver chain.
Seaglass is irregular in shape and this was no exception. The fine silver is measured and cut, adjusted and filed to fit snugly round the edge of the glass and soldered in place onto textured sterling silver back. I filed and sanded the silver to create waves and soldered the handcrafted silver horse shoe to the piece. The horse shoe has indentations depicting the nails in the shoe and I added a silver granulation to create depth and embellishment to the design.
The pendant is sanded, polished and protected with a coat of Renaissance Wax.
It measures 20mm x 20mm and hangs from a sterling silver mini belcher chain 16"
