My husband grows strawberries in containers in the garden and there is always a fine line between perfectly ripe and the birds etc getting there first. We don't always win. I wanted a slightly illustrative/graphic design feel to this painting and I have use d a little red ink for highlighting.

Full description
Strawberries are scattered on a white cloth with a red scalloped edging and small pale green square detail. The ripening locally picked strawberries and bright green leaves jump out of the space which is entirely filled by the painting. I created this one in my Norfolk studio, it is mounted, framed in a simple lime-washed wood and ready for you to hang. The overall measurement is 32.5cm square and the internal image is 16cm square. Do you like strawberries? Add a pop of fruity colour to your room. I call this one 'Just Picked'.
