I was looking around for something different to paint during lockdown and I came across a canteen of cutlery which I inherited from my mother who, intern had it from her mother. It is only plated but I still think it's quite grand and looks fab if your having a proper dinner party, however definitely not dishwasher safe. I have painted this subject before as a straight forward watercolour painting but I have enjoyed this different, textured approach.

Full description
Cutlery original watercolour painting on cream textured canvas featuring knife, fork and spoon with silver shell and scroll-work handles. I think the design could be called 'king's pattern' and I painted it in my Norfolk studio. The canvas is 20cms square and ready for you to hang or give as a gift, perhaps to someone who loves giving dinner parties or as a silver wedding present.
