Love this

This is a French buttonhole thread, made from high quality, polished and waxed linen thread by the company Toulemonde under the label Fil Au Chinois.

It is a 3-ply thread with a diameter of approximately 0.43mm. I sell it by the start-card which holds 20m of thread.

Despite the brand name, the thread is entirely produced in Northern France.

made for hand-stitching seams that have to stand extra strain, this is the perfect thread for sewing on buttons.

But it's also great for sewing leather blouses and similar.

I personally use it as a binding thread for miniature books.
