Blue green flower enamelled copper dangly earrings on 925 silver hooks

I cut out the copper shapes by hand from copper sheet, and torch fire enamelled the backs with clear lead free enamel powder to give strength, and let the copper shine through..

The front of each earring was enamelled with blue and green lead free enamel powder to represent grass and sky. This was repeated several times to give the correct depth of colour. The really fun bit though, was adding tiny 'glass wafers' which, when melted turn into pretty yellow flower heads. The flower stalks are made by using very thin glass rods which, when heated by torch fire melt and form straight lines.

The earrings will be sent to you in a presentation box, with anti tarnish pad and Fat Mozz's Fings logo on the front. It will be sent in a padded envelope for protection

I love flowers, gardens and the colours they hold. I wanted to make jewellery that would show a little piece of nature at any time, not just during it's season. I was thrilled to find I could buy tiny glass nuggets which, when melted form flower heads. These were absolutely perfect for my design, and I have since used them several times. They are pretty amazing too, as you never know how they will turn out until they're 'done'.
