Full description
These circle stud earrings are made from aluminium which I have dyed in grey and orange.The orange circle has a stripey silver pattern which I have printed on to the metal. I seal the dye in so that it becomes a permanent part of the metal. Each circle is cut out by hand using a piercing saw and then domed so that they catch the light. As aluminium can't be soldered, they are fed onto a sterling silver ear post, when worn the pressure from the butterflies at the back hold the two circles in place. Each circle can be worn separately and the silver studs can be worn on their own too. This gives you a stud earring which is three earrings in one.
The largest circle measures approximately 12mm in diameter.
