Full description
This is a unique original drawing in coloured pencils, one of a series of abstract designs based on my explorations of the concept of contours. This drawing has a colour palette of greys and blues, with ‘peaks’ of a red-brown. The outline is organic in style and to my eye evokes a groups of dancers holding hands in a circle and swirling in a reel. I find that every viewer has their own personal interpretation of these artworks.
Using artist-quality coloured pencils on heavy weight paper for a high-quality professional finish, the picture is presented in an off-white colour mount, with a backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag. Measuring (with mount) 18” wide by 14” tall (image size 14” by 10”) - that’s approximately 45 by 35 (35 by 25) in cm - it will fit a readily-available standard-size frame.
