I can never resist vintage style floral fabrics and when I saw this remnant I automatically thought it would make a gorgeous bag, or a cushion, or a washbag...
I finally plumped for this lovely large bag and think it would be the perfect accessory for a Springtime shopping spree.
I have had a pair of Laura Ashley curtains which used to hang in my mother's house for ages and couldn't bear to cut them up. They were quite faded but I loved the delicate sprigged pattern and knew they would be useful for something, I just couldn't work out what! As soon as I saw the floral fabric I knew that the curtains would be absolutely perfect to make the lining - they are faded but still gorgeous and deserve a new lease of life.
Sadly there was only enough fabric to make two bags, so once they're gone, they're gone!
