I've always been an admirer of Sanderson fabrics, particularly the larger floral prints, so when I spotted this rose pattern I was very keen to snap it up. The pattern seemed to epitomise warm summer days and it would be perfect for carrying all manner of paraphernalia to the beach, or floating around a festival!

Perfect for Summer, this gorgeous floral shopping bag is made from a remnant of vintage Sanderson 'Grace' fabric featuring rose stems on a brick red background. The fabric is new from an unused remnant of curtain fabric dating back to 1997. I have lined it with a co-ordinating cream and sage green polka dot cotton fabric
The bag is super spacious and will fold up to fit neatly into your handbag, but is large enough to fit all manner of goodies, from library books to lunchboxes.
It measures approximately 47cm x 37 cm and the straps are long enough to wear as a shoulder bag. I've tried to show it's size in relation to a magazine in the last photograph to give you an idea of just how gloriously capacious it is!
