Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.
* I endeavour to represent my pieces as clearly and with colours as true to life as possible, however some slight variations in tone between the image on screen and the piece itself may occur.*
It is good to give my lino cuts a fresh lease of life from time to time! I really love the size of this mini print; perfect for popping into the post and such a lovely 'extra' in an envelope with a greetings card.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
I initially cut this lino purely to be incorporated within a larger scale printed and stitched piece, but I love how it looks as a stand-alone print!
Each of these mini prints has been hand burnished in two layers with a 'sweep' of white then a bold black outline of snowdrops printed over the top. The paper is a lovely dark cream Japanese kitakata paper, measuring a diminutive 11cm x 13cm approx.
Each mini print is titled and signed and having been printed by hand, slight variations from print to print will occur; such is the beauty of a unique, hand crafted piece.
Just 4 of these prints have been made, with the edition number noted on the print's reverse side.
Your mini print will be posted to you in a cello with a back board, ready to present as is or to frame with the mount and surround of your choosing.
