Earth, the planets, the universe - awe inspiring. I have called her Aditi after the Hindu goddess of the universe. Strong goddess figures from ancient times inspire my female figures.

This needle felt figure represents the solar system. She is holding the earth, planets circle round her dress and the sun is her face and hair. I have called her Aditi.
Made using unspun wool and jabbed with a needle into a figure shape. The planets have been needlefelted onto her dark blue dress and the sun is represented by her face and hair. She is holding a needlefelted Earth. The Earth is not attached - it is just resting on her hands.
Aditi is attached to a wood slice making her stable for display.
The figure measures approx 6.5 ins tall.
Not suitable for children due to internal wires.
