A signed, original piece of felt art.
Handmade in the UK.
'POPLARS'
This felt painting shouts summer. It has shades of blue and white wool and silks for the sky and greens and browns for the fields.
Pops of colour, silk and shimmery metallic threads and machine embroidery highlight the sky and sunset and hills. To the left are the tall elegant poplars reaching up to the sky.
Made using wool from our flock of North Country Mule Ewes (please see my about section for more information) along with Merino wool and silk fibres.
This picture was made by alternating many layers of wool then wet felting followed by needle felting and finally free motion embroidery. A technique that takes many hours.
This original signed felt art is presented in a white frame without glass.
