A dynamic machine embroidered image of a Collared Dove in flight. On a dreamlike semi-abstract collage background of different patterned cottons and silk. Mounted in acid-free off white mount card.
Image size 160 mm by 160 mm. Total mounted size 320 mm by 320mm
Inspiration
Started quite a while ago I came back to this embroidered piece recently and played around with the fabric layout for the background which give it a less figurative and more of an impressionistic feeling. I like to think this emphasises the movement of the Dove and its wing beats.
