One of the most loved common garden birds and year round song birds, there seems to be a connection between people and this little creature.
Much folklore, myths and tales also surround this little bird.
The Robins have been fired to a high frost proof temperature so is safe to put outdoors but is equally at home pushed into the pot of a house plant.
Robins also sing all year round, their Winter and Spring songs being different.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Hand modeled, these Robins start off as a ball of clay, textured with tools and brushes to create wings, feathers and fine details.
When leather hard, coloured clay slips are applied before carefully drying and being placed in the kiln for the first time.
After a biscuit firing the Robins are much harder and under glazes, oxides and a clear glaze can then be applied without fear of breaking, before being placed back in the kiln for the glaze firing.
The Robin measures approx 7 cm long, 4 cm high, and 3 cm wide.
Overall height with stick included is approx 24 cm
