Easter banner made from white vintage linen and featuring Happy Easter letting cut by hand from leftover pastel floral fabrics and hand-appliqued in place. It is edged in yellow bias binding and would look lovely as part of an Easter display. The lettering is on the front only.

This is a one-off sample piece and could best be described as a banner but could equally be used as a mini table runner, pegged onto a dresser or framed. I have simply pegged it in place to take a photo as it doesn't currently have loops so that it is as versatile as possible, however if you would like to buy it and require loops then I am happy to do this for you.
I once made a similar 'Merry Christmas' version and simply pinned it in place above my fireplace (see the last photograph for details).

The sample measures 80cm long x 16cm wide and comes wrapped in tissue paper.

Many years ago I lived in a house with a gorgeous Victorian wooden fireplace surround and made a 'Merry Christmas' banner to hang across it. I really wanted to make an Easter version so chose all the fabric, started stitching and got distracted by so many other things that it never got to decorate the house at Easter. Once it was finished Easter seemed such a long time away that the little banner was packed away and has only just been found again. I don't quite know how to describe it as it could be a banner or a mini table runner or framed on a wall - it really is up to you. All I know is that it would be lovely to post it to a good home where it would be appreciated and see the light of day!
