This fish is 35mm long. I have soldered a 20mm brooch bar to the reverse. The pin secures with a rotating catch.
After building up a base of clear enamel on the copper shape I have applied a layer of light green enamel to the body then added a layer of turquoise through whih I have drawn to expose the layers beneath abd create the appearnce of weed through which the fish is swimming. The copper beneath shows through in golden tones that make the brooch shimmer and contribute a 3D effect to the layer of weeds.
The brooch is sold boxed, as shown.
Your brooch will be sent boxed, by Royal Mail first class large letter, signed for.
To keep the brooch level for photographs I have balanced it on a band of staples.
