I love this owls pose...she blends into the landscape but also commands it. The fact that Barn Owls are well matched to the snowy landscape in the deep midwinter was my inspiration for this image. She is the snow queen, could you doubt it? The landscape is very much the west country and is that Colmer's Hill in the background?

The Snow Queen is from my Wintership series which is based on winter folklore and fairy tales.
Original design drawn on paper with black ink, watercolour and acrylic paints.
A square card (140mm x 140mm) printed digitally on 330gsm card and hand finished. Supplied with a white envelope and a clear cellophane wrapper. Blank inside for your personal message.
