Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with fabric, paints, embroidery, beads and collage. I particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

I bought a pair of vintage butterfly cards and couldn't resist using one as the focal point in this mini collage. I love the vibrant blues and reds and have used this colour palette in the rest of the collage.

Full description
A pretty handmade card that can also be popped in a frame to create an original mini artwork. Perfect for a birthday gift.
In the centre is a vintage playing card featuring two butterflies and flowers on a metallic gold background. I've used a selection of Japanese origami papers and patterned papers from old books to frame this and create a rich tapestry effect. Some of the origami papers also have metallic gold in them which adds a bit of sparkle.
I've mounted the artwork onto a 5"x7" card that fits a standard frame.
PLEASE NOTE: The black frame shown is for presentation purposes only and is not included.
The card will be sent second class Royal Mail.
