Full description
"Fabric of Motherhood" is a unique collage in a body of work concentrating on baby carrying and the presence of fabrics in a mother's life. The print is named and signed on the back.
I made a drypoint etching of a women carrying her infant in a sling (this is 2 of five) which I cut out and collaged onto a background that is collaged together from several lino-prints. The collage is sealed with a shellac.
While there are five of these drypoint etchings, the collaged background and overall make-up is unique to each of them, making this a one of a kind picture.
The image has the size of 12.5cm x 17.5cm and fits into a 5x7 inch picture frame.
In the photos you see it in a shadow frame that can stand up on its own or be hung on a wall. It has a real glass screen and a whitened wood appearance (but is not solid wood). One of the options let you buy the print in this frame if you wish.
In case you wish to use your own, larger frame, I can provide the print matted. Please choose the option you are looking for and send me a message if you have any questions.
