Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with fabric, paints, embroidery, beads and collage. I particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

This is one of a pair of vintage playing cards featuring tropical birds that I bought from a seller in Australia. So they've flown a long way! I love the bold, colourful illustration and thought it would make the perfect focal point for one of my mini collages.

Full description
This handmade card has a collage on the front. It's sized to fit a standard frame so makes a lovely little original artwork.
In the centre is a colourful vintage playing card featuring a pair of macaws and foliage. I've used a selection of Japanese origami papers and patterned papers from old books to complement the colours in the illustration.
I've mounted the artwork onto a 5"x7" card. The inside is blank.
PLEASE NOTE: The black frame shown is for presentation purposes only and is not included.
The card will be sent second class Royal Mail.
