Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with fabric, paints, embroidery, beads and collage. I particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

This is one of a pair of vintage playing cards featuring tropical birds that I bought from a seller in Australia. I thought it would make a striking focal point in one of my mini collages and it's certainly one of the most colourful cards I've made.

Full description
This handmade card has a collage on the front. It fits a standard frame so makes a lovely little original artwork. A great way to send a card and gift in one!
In the centre is a colourful vintage playing card featuring tropical birds and foliage. The rest of the collage is made from Japanese origami papers and patterned papers from old books.
I've mounted the artwork onto a 5"x7" card. The inside is blank.

The card will be sent second class Royal Mail.
