Hello and welcome! This page is home to Beaded Beasties: mixed media box frames of dragonflies and other creatures in a mini environment. Each one unique, made from new and recycled materials. I hope you love what you see.

Who says Dragonflies can't enjoy Christmas?! The magic surrounding the festive season means that anything is possible and this purple beauty is taking full advantage! This frame could become a treasured Christmas decoration for yourself or as a unique gift.
The dragonfly is made up from a variety of new and pre-loved beads all in rich purple with hints of gold. It is admiring a beautifully decorated tree cut from green glitter card and covered with a wide variety of beads, buttons and charms, topped off with a metallic gold star. Beneath the tree stand a troop of toy soldiers, teddies and a colourful pile of gifts made with chunky acrylic beads. The scene is completed by a cluster of golden leaves and button berries.
The white box frame is 32 cm (12.5 ins) square, 3.3 cm deep and has a hanging hook on the back. Like all Beaded Beasties box frames, this is a unique artwork.
