Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with fabric, paints, embroidery, beads and collage. I particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

This is one of a pair of vintage playing cards I bought some time ago from a seller in Australia. So they've travelled quite a long way!
I love the stylised painting of the horsemen and thought it deserved to be given a new lease of life. I've taken the golds, blues and browns in the painting as the colour palette for the rest of the collage.

This mini collage card is a lovely way to send a card and gift in one!
At the centre is a pretty vintage playing card with Eastern horsemen. I've surrounded it with a selection of patterned papers from old books and Japanese origami papers to create a tapestry effect.
The playing card and some of the origami papers have metallic gold which catches the light and adds a bit of sparkle!
I've mounted the artwork onto a 5"x7" card so that it can be framed.

The card will be sent second class Royal Mail.
