The inspiration fo this set is the beads themselves, the unusual hexegonal multi faceted aspect of the beads lent itself to a multi dimentional pattenr to the links between them. I wanted to create someting that is quirky, but also inviting to the eye. The textured metal makes this piece unique in itself as the texturing will create little kinks on some links whilst none on the others.
The golden colour of the glass bead attracks the light and reflects it back; whilst the filigree bead almost envelops the light and keeps it within itself.
For me this is a dichotomy between light and dark; shine and absorbtion, reflection and retraction.
This set is not only jewellery; it is also wearable art, the feel of autumn encapsulated into one item.

Being unique is about showing your personality through that which you wear; how you decorate your home; and the friends you surround yourself with.
This jewellery set will add to that individuality; through it's design and choice of colours.
The ensemble you see before you is a blend of handmade and shop bought elements.
All the connecting findings; and clasp on the necklace is hand made using tarish resistant silver plated copper wire; textured. The beads are sourced from a UK seller. Together they create an avant gard style necklace, which can be worn during the day; or even paired with an evening attire.
I find pairing a necklace and earrings at times challanging; therefore a set of earrings are also included to match the necklace - the ear wire on the earrings is Sterling silver.
