This is inspired by one of my favourite potters - John Leach. I saw he'd made one for sale and I had to have a go!!

Full description

This shaped vessel is inspired by one of John Leach's pots. I love it's funtional shape and the way the handle curves into the spout. I always imagine this being used for the best virgin olive oil! I've decorated it in one of my favourite glazes, Topaz, with is olive brown base breaking to a crystalline siver, and with raw fired clay on show using wax resist this strange shaped bottle has a very earthy useful feel. It holds about 300mls of liquid and would be useful for oil, vinegar, salad dressing etc. It could also be used as a vase.

I take time with careful packing using recyclable materials, so don't be surprised if this item doesn't arrive for about a week.

It is hand made, thrown on a wheel, in stoneware clay.

It is fired to 1235oC and will hold water and is heat resistant and food safe.

It is about 15cm tall and about 8cm diameter.
