This little hoop features a single tree in all its autumnal glory (the leaves are clusters of tiny french knots). Rooks circle in the stormy autumn sky.
All elements of the embroidery have been hand-cut and hand-stitched by me to my own original design. I also hand-painted the 3" wooden embroidery hoop used to frame the work with white acrylic paint.
The back of the hoop is neatly finished with a circle of white felt, signed by me. A hanging loop is attached to the top screw mechanism. If you prefer, the work can be displayed on a small plate stand (not included).
Please note that the ivy leaves in the main photo are NOT part of the piece.
The textile art will be sent to you in a premium white presentation box (approx dimensions 10.5 x 10.5 x 2.0cm) lined with blue felt to match the background of the piece.
I often re-make designs, but tiny variations in the stitches occur each time ensuring that each item is unique. The embroidery you receive will be the exact item shown in the photos 1 - 3.
Postage to UK addresses is via Royal Mail First Class Large Letter Service and I always obtain proof of postage.
