Hello! I am a freelance artist & illustrator, whose work is created using a mixture of chalk pastel, pencil and coloured pencil. I sell Giclee Art prints, drawings, greeting cards, wrapping paper, stickers, ceramic ornaments and coasters, tote bags and wall calendars - all featuring my illustrations!

This is an illustration for a book I made called "Small Encounters". It was inspired by a poem called "Cat Began", by Andrew Matthews - a beautiful poem about how the 'original' cat created herself out of aspects of the earth and sky.

About this Cat Greeting Card - "Cat beginning":
I used coloured pencils, pencil and chalk pastel to create this gently surreal and happy black cat illustration!
There are many little details to be found and enjoyed, such as the night sky with crescent moon on the body of the black cat, the smoke from the chimney transforming into clouds and, not least, the ginger cat hills!
The inside of the card is left blank for your own message, so it is suitable for any occasion and can be enjoyed by both adults and children!
Printed on lovely, sturdy 425 micron Ensocoat Greeting card board, with a beautiful delicate image set in a white border. The last image shows the back of the card.
148mm x 148mm.
Each individual square card and envelope is enclosed in a clear cello sleeve.
Limited edition Giclee prints and the original drawing are available on request!
