unique and interesting mosaic box. I think that the original box is hand made of Oak. Its decorated in recycled items, broken jewellery, beads, buttons and broken china. I am not sure of the purpose of the tableau on the top, but it's lovely. The box measures 24cm width, 15 cm depth and stands 14 cm high.

I love mosaicking boxes and am always on the look out for interesting boxes. I think that this box is hand made from Oak, I bought it from an antique shop in Goring-on Thames ,Berkshire. It's so carefully made that it certainly deserves another life.
