Full description
This jolly Christmas lavender bag is made from a vintage applique tablecloth, just think of the Christmas dinners it has witnessed! Altho its grand dining days are over, I was able to make this little bag, filled with dried lavender from Terrington in North Yorkshire. Lavender has been used for centuries to aid a good nights sleep, keep clothes smelling fresh, and ward off pesky moths. This Christmas lavender bag would make a great stocking filler, a thank you for a teacher, or as a sweet smelling Christmas tree decoration.
This little bag measures 10cm by 10cm
Inside is nestling a tiny muslin pillow filled with English lavender from North Yorkshire.
There is a practical hook for popping onto a clothes hanger or hanging up in a bedroom, to keep the air sweet.
The back is made from a fragment of vintage cut back embroidery, its little holes allowing the scent out.
The bag is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Just squeeze gently from time to time to refresh your lavender scent.
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your little bag will be posted out to you wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting.
