Rowan is a little witch doll made to my own doll pattern here in Lancashire. She has a hand painted, hand embroidered face with soft auburn wool tops for hair. Rowan is firmly stuffed with lavender and sage in her stuffing for a gentle scent and a piece of carnelian at her heart for peace of mind.

She is dressed in Autumn Fields, a wonderful rich Lewis and Irene print in shades of brown with mulberry, mustard and purples, finished with a taupe organza ribbon. Her outfit is completed with tiny buttons, leather shoes and an R on her little sachet for Rowan. She has coordinating knickers and underskirts in cotton and lace.

Rowan stands 11 inches with a further inch and a half for her hat. She makes a lovely companion and can sit quietly or hang from a brass ring to her back. She has a gentle nature and will be a good friend.

Please remember Rowan is not a toy but a rag doll for grown ups.

Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. If you come from Lancashire and you make dolls, well you are going to make a witch doll. I love my little witch dolls, they are not remotely wicked just sweet hedge witches that are kind and gentle. Rowan is dressed in a pretty Autumn themed fabric with an oak leaf print and rowan berries.
