During my recent travels to Barcelona, Spain; I had the chance to visit Sagrada Familia (the temple that Gaudi envisaged for the city); the Park Guell - where Gaudi again created some amazing designs. I was inspired by the beautiful colours; shapes and the magic the mosaics created when touched by the light. I wanted re-create that theme and capture it in the form of jewellery; re-using the glass shards that were shaped by the sea. Each sea glass shard was hand picked by myself on the shores in Barcelona; hand painted and oven fired.
Gaudi used shards of tiles to crate some of his iconic mosaics; which now adorn some of the buildings in Barcelona; or can be seen in the Park.

Full description
This elongated pendant uses a stained piece of seaglass from the shores of Barcelona. The stained glass is hand painted and wrapped in tarnish reisistant silver plated copper wire.
The simple and elegant design will compliment a day time or eveining attire.
The pendant will come with a free 24" silver plated chain ready for wearing in a black jweellery box ready for gifting or for storing.
