I’ve made this necklace using handmade lampwork glass beads in a deep black colour. Three of the beads have been formed into fun nugget shapes, with the remaining two made as smooth round spacer beads. The beads have been teamed with Japanese seed beads in silver grey and black shades, and are strung on Beadalon wire, which is a group of stainless steel wires twisted together and coated in nylon, giving a strong and durable result. The necklace is finished with Sterling Silver findings, including a secure lobster clasp.

The lampwork glass beads used in this necklace have been handmade with love in the UK by a talented artist and kiln annealed for strength. Each bead is truly unique and a piece of art in its own right. Wear them with pride!

Total necklace length is approximately 40 cm (just under 16 inches), including clasp. Each central lampwork glass nugget bead is c.12-13mm wide by c.10mm long and the spacers are 12mm wide by 8mm long.

This necklace has not been hallmarked as the silver used falls under the legal exemption weight; however, the clasp carries a ‘925’ stamp.

Sometimes, I really enjoy playing with texture rather than colour. I love these little nugget beads and thought they were even more fun when I added in the smooth spacers between them. The silver grey beads helps to lighten the necklace and catch the eye, but I think it still has a touch of Gothic about it!
