Thanks for visiting our shop. You will find a variety of household items and gifts here, mostly with an Eco-focus - things that can be used and reused without costing the planet or emptying your wallet. We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.

One of my favourite t.v. programmes is The Sewing Bee. I have learnt so much by watching it, with the various successes and failures. A few years ago I began to develop “pattern weight envy” as so many of the contestants have beautiful pattern weights. Then my lovely daughter made me a set for my birthday.
My theory is that if I love these, so will other people who like to sew.

If you’re a crafter, you’ll enjoy not only your craft, but also surrounding yourself with lovely tools and equipment that you enjoy using. These lovely pattern weights are a pleasure to use. We sell them in sets of eight - a great gift for a dressmaker. Weights can be used to hold patterns still, instead of pinning. They also look lovely just sitting on a shelf! This set is made from offcuts of fabric in a mix of blues and yellows. They are filled with rice and each weight weighs about 75g.
Under separate listings you will see that I also make chicken weights – the same pattern weight design but made into cheeky little birds who will help out by holding your pattern still.
Postage costs are higher for this item - the clue is in the name! We will send your order using the standard 2 to 4 day delivery offered by Evri, unless you select a faster service through the options. Orders will generally be packaged in recycled materials. We can pack additional items with your order at no additional postage cost.
