LET ME KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY GREETINGS TO INCLUDE.
I enjoy making lidded jars because, while they take time to throw, I am told that they often get used regularly. This is how I engage with the owner. I take care to make my jars with a well-fitting lid. The base inside is stamped with a fish and there is my small medallion outside. The top of the lid is slightly concave to retain a thicker layer of glaze and obtain a pastel pink-blue colour.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

An attractive tan, cream and pale blue porcelain jar with colour variations reflecting the melting and thickness of the glaze on the lid top and in the stamped and wheel-made markings both inside and out. The glaze is transparent tan where thin and cream or light blue if thick. Iron oxide was brush-applied to give the brown abstract marks. This thrown stylish jar is perfect for spices, herbs, sugar, keys or your small precious items. The jar was thrown with a UK porcelain and, after biscuit firing and glazing the piece was fired to 1300C to make it impermeable and very durable.
- The jar is food, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe and measures approximately 6cm tall and 10cm wide.
- The bottom is impressed with my seal, the letter P, and its identity number 9818
