You may have seen a fairy door, maybe even have one in your garden? But, unless you dive deep in the ocean or have your own submarine, you won't have seen a mer door. Deep below the foamy waves, hidden as best they can, in caves, nooks, crannies, chasms and twisting tunnels live communities of merfolk. Behind their sea doors which are decorated and disguised by coral, shells and rocks, and of course a little mer magic, they live out of sight; which is of course is just the way they like it.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A door decorated with underwater treasures adorns this box, burned by hand using pyrography and then coloured using art pencils and paint.
-Wooden box, with some rustic tool markings.
-Small chest style with arched lid.
-This is by no means a perfect box. I tend to rescue unloved pieces and upcycle them. There may be areas of glue and uneven stain.
-Measures: 7.5cm high, 10cm long with a width of 6.5cm. Internal depth 3.5cm
-Brass coloured hinges.
-Stained, sanded and varnished.
-Rubber bumpers to base
-Lined with black felt.

All my creations are my own design and composition. Each piece is unique. Please note, wood is a natural material and each piece has it's own knots and imperfections that make it beautiful. I seal the wood with varnish to help protect it, but it will weather overtime.
To care for your piece; keep out of damp conditions and direct sunlight.
Postage is FREE. I post once a week, using my local post office. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Postage within the UK only.
