In the heart of the ocean, and away from prying eyes, away from boats and hooks and nets. Hidden and forgotten. Scarcely passed over by bird or plane... there lives a creature. Coiled and sleeping, many leagues beneath the waves and the blue skies. Waiting. No light filters the distance to it's rocky chasm, but with each beat of it's watery heart, its scales glow and pulse and glint like jewels in a crystal cave. Once a seafarer, circling the oceans with many of its kind, now alone, captured only within the pages of books and the stories passed down through generations. Waiting.

Full description
A sea dragon coiled to the shape of this box, burned by hand using pyrography and then coloured using art pencils and paint.
-Wooden box, with some rustic tool markings.
-Small, heart style.
-This is by no means a perfect box. I tend to rescue unloved pieces and upcycle them. There may be areas of glue and uneven stain.
-Measures: 5.5cm high, 9cm at the widest. Internal depth 3.5cm
-Brass coloured hinges, magnetic close plus clasp.
-Stained, sanded and varnished.
-Rubber bumpers to base
-Lined with black felt.

All my creations are my own design and composition. Each piece is unique. Please note, wood is a natural material and each piece has it's own knots and imperfections that make it beautiful. I seal the wood with varnish to help protect it, but it will weather overtime.
To care for your piece; keep out of damp conditions and direct sunlight.
Postage is FREE. I post once a week, using my local post office. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Postage within the UK only.
