After an afternoon of foraging badger loved nothing more than to sit and listen to his favourite music on the gramophone.
A hand and machine stitched as well as hand painted piece. Badger sits on a bed of preserved moss holding the friuts of his labour a wee crown sits on his head a little Elizabethian collar adorns his neck.and his trusty gramophone by his side.
This piece measures: 12.5 x 13 cm approx.
This is a collectable piece and not a toy so is not suitable for children.
I am a self confessed woodland fanatic the smell of the forest the folliage and creatures that live within it literally fire up my imagination.
So it goes without saying i had to create a foraging badger but not content with the norm he had to be a music lover (naturally). This took a little while to create hand and machine stitched even the little fly algaric fungus hand stitched with tiny white dots. Lovingly hand painted to give it an aged quality ( old things another obsession i have). An original piece reflecting my woodland fairy world.
