Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.

One dark and wet winter evening, I was invited to a fabric sale in York. This fabulous remnant designed by Matthew Williamson was one of the beautiful pieces I bought that night.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This practical little shoulder bag or handbag is made out of a wonderful Folk Art style fabric, its strong jewel like colours mixed up in a printed patchwork style. It has two straps, as well as an internal pocket for the flotsam and jetsam of your life, and fits neatly under your arm. It is large enough to carry all your essentials with style, and closes with a satisfying chunky zip. It would make a great present for anyone who loves a Folk art style, as a present for Mum, or for a friend needing a virtual hug right now.
The fabric is first stitched onto canvas to give it some body, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures 27 cm along the top, widening to 30 cm along the base.
The height is 23 cm and the base is boxed to make it more roomy.
There is a beige chunky zip opening of 27 cm.
The two shoulder straps measure 72 cm each.
There is an internal pocket measuring 12 cm by 14 cm, so you need never rummage for your keys again.
The bag is lined with old skool black and white ticking fabric, and it is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please note that the pattern placement will vary from bag to bag. Same wonderful fabric tho.
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be posted out as signed for 2nd class Royal Mail, and will therefore require a signature on arrival.
