For this print I chose to do a reduction Linocut which creates a multicoloured print from a single block of lino. Through a series of progressive cuttings, inkings, and printings, the image slowly emerges while the actual piece of lino is destroyed. A reduction print can therefore never be reprinted. This means that the whole batch of prints must be printed at the start and will determine the final number in any edition.

This print took a while to produce as I decided to do many different layers of colour, using 12 layers in total in the end which was very time consuming, but enjoyable.

There are only 12 linocuts in the edition .
They are hand printed by me using my etching press, onto white 200 gsm Snowdon Cartridge paper using water washable inks.

They are signed in pencil on the front by me as the artist
They are sold unframed and will be packaged carefully in reinforced cardboard.
