My world of donkeys! Those familiar with my prints might be aware that I create a lot of prints featuring donkeys. I don't think they are championed nearly as much as they should be in the art world (and in real life), so I feel somehow that it is my job to do so.
Plus also with the collaboration, John suggested the idea of using the '7 hills' idea and it seemed to fit perfectly with my adventuring donkeys!

This is a hand-pressed woodcut / screen-print entitled 'A Donkey And Seven Hills No.2' printed in light green and dark grey.
This is one of my many donkey-themed prints. This one is a collaboration with fellow Sheffield printmaker John Pedder, to mark the occasion of our exhibitions together at Cupola Gallery in Sheffield in 2020. The title refers to the seven hills of the city of Sheffield.
Light green/chartreuse Caligo inks and dark grey System 3 ink on off-white 300gsm acid-free Somerset paper. From a limited edition of 10, signed, titled and numbered. The paper has a decalled edge, meaning it has a feathery, unfinished paper edge.
The print image measures H30 x W30cm.

Printed by myself at Hunk Print, and by John in his studio, Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints and woodcuts.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
