A belt... pretty much the first project after finishing my courses.
Such a simple, functional thing but made in the tradition way there are over 30 steps in the process and I use over 25 different hand tools
Each belt is different, and it has a bit of me in it (or on it if I've been clumsy!)
It will last a very long time, a lifetime. It will stretch 'a little', discolour 'a little' but I am totally confident if you can still wrap it around you and find a hole it will serve you well 'forever'

Hand made, hand stitched leather belts made from best English bridle leather to last a lifetime
My belts are made from the best materials I can buy, the leather is best English bridle butt from old English tanneries (that I also make bridles and head collars from), the buckles are from a small foundry in Walsall and the thread is waxed synthetic known throughout the world as 'Tiger' thread from Germany.
Each belt is unique, made specifically to fit you so I need the length of your belt from the buckle to your comfortable use hole (as shown in the diagram) and the width you require (popular choices are 1", 1.25" and 1.5")
There are a number of leather colours available - black, dark Havana (dark brown), London tan (light tan), dark stain (rich dark tan), chestnut, Australian nut (rich red/brown) and the buckles are available in brass or nickle plated brass (silver) with black, brown, yellow or white (cream) stitching.
Please note as the width of the belt increase so does the price.
I truly believe this belt will last 'a life time', yes it will change colour and become distorted eventually but it will age gracefully and never let you down!
